Lady Wrestlers on British TV,

Having women wrestling on a British TV show is almost unheard of.  What's even more astonishing is that in this case this clip comes from a drama/comedy set in the 1950s.  Sadly the little action you get is restricted to a few moments slotted in between a comedy subplot about cross-dressing.

PS: Ignore the fact that the outfits and entire premise are wildly anachronistic.

French Soapy Wrestling

  This is a clip that Youtube rejected so luckily I  can use this blog to share it with you all.  So what we have here is yet another Non-Anglosphere TV clip where gorgeous women in skimpy bikinis wrestle in something slippery.  I am perfectly happy about that.

  I'm not saying you don't get sexy fights on British TV but gawd knows they are few and far between.

 I think this is some sort of reality TV show. I wish my reality included random bikini babes wrestling.

Celebrity Boxing: Hoopz V Natalie D.

"Celebrity" is probably a stretch but never mind that. Here's two reality TV stars in the ring attempting to box each other.  They are wearing headgear, sadly.

Now here's a question for you.  What Female Celebrities put on the best boxing match?  Personally my favourite would have to be Jordan Carver v Melanie Muller.

Scarlett Bordeaux v Rebel

Scarlett Bordeaux might not be the most technically gifted wrestler in the world but she is easily one of the sexiest. when you put her in the ring against Rebel - another girl who knows exactly what makes the fans happy - the result is a butt-lovers delight.
 And one lucky fan got the best seat in the house.  

Bonnie Canino v Carla Witherspoon.

Bonnie Canino was a pioneer in women's boxing and kickboxing. Her Youtube channel recently got update with some early footage including this fight.  It's not the most scientific boxing you'll ever see and her opponent throws some odd-looking punches, but it's still a short,sweet scrap.

I found this while browsing somebody's VK.com site.

Two women naked but for strategically placed boxing gloves. One is a tough looking fitness gal, the other is a little more innocent but with a glint in her eye that hints of  a mean streak.

Apartment Boxing from the Fifties.

One of the more frustrating things about being a catfight fan is that while the internet has an incredible amount of material on offer, it's not always easy to find certain things.  Found a picture from a great photoshoot? want some more?  Then be prepared for disappointment. sometimes that one pic is all you get.

But sometimes you get lucky and stumble across some more which means you now have enough to tell a story.

Years and years back I found a couple of pics where two Bettie Page-era women were duking it out in boxing gloves, leaving one out cold and the other striking a victory pose over her prone rival.  Excellent!

Naturally I was overjoyed when I recently  found two more pics from that same set.

I do not know who either of these women are but going by the big bolt-ons, I'm guessing they're not ctually kickboxers.  Never mind that?  If these two got in the ring and started knocking seven bells out of each other, who wins and who gets carried out?

Hairpulling Scuffle from Philippine TV.

I found this short hairpulling bout by accident. it's from a Philippines TV series called Tubig At Langis.

In these days where every Soccer Mom on TV apparently knows Krav Maga it's nice to see something a bit more old-fashioned. No spin-kicks, no judo flips, just two rivals trying to rip each others hair out by the roots.

SOS: Conspiracion Bikini

Since Youtube won't let me post this, I guess I'll just have to stick it here.

The movie is an Ecuadorian/Mexican spy flick from 1967.

Here we have  quick scuffle between the hero's girlfriend and the villainess who is trying to kidnap her.  Notable for some...interesting...quasi-martial arts movies.

I think this is a Latin American version of Gladiators.  Except the women are sexier and they get the girls to wrestle.  I'm not entirely happy about the helmets but that's petty.

When In Doubt, Post Mud Wrestling

There's a lot of mud wrestling clips on Youtube so it's unlikely I'm ever going to run out. The problem is finding clips that aren't
a.  filmed with a potato,
b. putting the girls into a barbie sized paddling pool
c. the same damn clips reposted for the 531st time
d. all of the above

Luckily this clip is quite respectable and both girls are wearing suits that show off their marvellous buttcheeks.  The annoying announcer is therefore worth putting up for.

More Oil Wrestling from South American TV.

  Whoever runs Peru's "Combate" is clearly one of us because the show regularly features two women battling it out in one form or another.

  On this episode minor celebrities Brenda Gomez and Lunada Fernandez strip down to thong bikinis and do some oil wrestling. That would never, ever happen on British TV.
